04/18/2013 | SIGN SITE REVIEW | Approved | THE SITE WAS NOT STAKED AT THIS TIME, SO THE SETBACKS WILL HAVE TO BE VERIFIED DURING THE EXCAVTION AND LAYOUT FOR THE SWAN SIGN. THE CAMP LOWELL LOCATIONS HAS AN EXISTING SIGN THAT MAY BE REUTILIZED FOR THE FUTURE SIGN.
04/17/2013 | SIGN SITE REVIEW | Partial Approval | Contractor resubmitted revision via email 4/16. Plans for two monument signs (sign panels mounted to CMU stucco walls) meet the Sign Code and rezoning conditions of case C9-02-023. Sending out for setback and grade differential check. Please have sign/wall locations clearly marked for inspection check. Once setbacks and grade are okay, permit can be released. (note, if site is sloped, additional drawing showing difference in grade at base of sign vs. roadway elevation will be needed)
04/16/2013 | SIGN SITE REVIEW | Correction Required | Contractor submitted revised plans by email. 1) Adjust drawing to show all sign panels (side view) are max height of 4' per rezoning conditions. (check notes lower left). 2) Clarify - if sign is going to be down lit in future (but un-lit this permit), please note "separate electrical permit is required for additional lighting to this sign in the future" 3) Sheet 2 of submittal shows the new southernmost sign along Swan to overhang the property line a few feet. Please revise, or note that a TRE is required for signs in the right of way. 4) Contractor was emailed with the correction notes to assist them with resolving these notes quickly. Contractor can email revised drawings for continued review. If the next review is fine, it will be sent out for pre-site inspection check of the proposed sign setbacks and the sign locations should be marked for this inspection. 04/11/2013 | SIGN SITE REVIEW | Correction Required | Rezoning conditions of case C9-02-23 require the signage to be no taller than 4' from the grade at the base of the sign. The submittal indicates 5' height. Contractor contacted. Add note to plan indicating no internal lighting since white panels are shown on the proposal (acknowledged down lighting shown) - in keeping with rezoning conditions as well. Also, please add note describing what wall is made of (CMU with stucco?) to understand mounting - and size of screws utilized. Note: check scale on site plan relating to sign setbacks.
