Fire started at top of machinery near flourescent light fixture, possibly involving bulb cover. Very minor damage to ceiling, light fixture, and vent pipe from machine. TFD Inspector at site confirmed appropriate breakers were shut off and the machine technician was on the way to repair equipment if necessary. The owners plan to replace bulb coverings throughout building as some show signs of heat damage (warehouse lights are on 24/7) and add protective cages. No cause for condemnation or boarding. Case closed. |
