12/02/2013 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT Approved VISITED SITE, DID FIND THREE CARS ON THE PROPERTY, TWO IN THE CARPORT AND ONE IN THE DRIVE. ONE OF THE CARS IN THE CARPORT DID HAVE A CAR COVER OVER THE CAR AND ALL TIRES WERE AIRED UP. THE SECOND, A CRYSTLER 300 WAS A HISTORIC VEHICLE LOOKED AS IF THE OWNER WAS RESTORING THE VEHICLE, TIRES WERE AIRED UP AND UNDER THE CARPORT. THE THIRD VEHICLE WAS ALSO A CRYSLER 300 WAS PARKED IN THE DRIVEWAY, FRONT TIRES WERE LOW OR FLAT. LEFT A CARD ON THE DOOR AND LATER RECEIVED A CALL FROM THE OWNER WHO ASKED IF HE COULD PUT COVERS OVER THE CARS AS HE DOES HAVE PLANS ON MOVING THE CARS TO A RESTORATION SHOP BUT THAT MAY NOT HAPEN UNTIL AFTER THE FIRST OF THE YEAR AND THE SHOP OWNER CONTROLS WHEN HE CAN TAKE THE CARS IN DUE TO SHOP OWNER NEEDINGTO FINISH PRIOR WORK. SPOKE WITH RICK SALDATE EXPLAINED THAT THE OWNER HAD CLEAR PLANS TO RESTORE AND GET CARS INTO THE SHOP, ALSO EXPLAINED OWNER WAS WILLING TO COVER THE CARS TO BUY SOME TIME UNTIL HE COULD GET THE CARS INTO THE SHOP. REALISTICALLY ONLY ONE CAR IS IN QUESTION AND THAT WOULD BE THE CAR IN THE DRIVE AS IT IS A PARTS CAR FOR THE CAR IN THE CARPORT.
