10/17/2013 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved Met with the tenants who have removed the posting from the window and had several people in the unit. Did try and find out who removed the posting and did advise the tenants that they were not allowed to remain on the property. Did call the owner to the site to let her that the unit has some one in the unit and the posting was removed. The tenant did leave the property and let them know if the water is turned back on that they could came back to the unit. The tenants were going to the water department to check what they have to do to get the water back on. Did let the tenants know that a citation is waiting for signiture for tampering with the meter by turning the water back on. Did let her know that they could come back to the unit to only get items out of the unit and not to stay in the unit. Re-did the posting and had the tenant sign the Notice to vacate the unit. The unit has 5-males, 1-female and 2-kids. Once the tenant signed the paper work, they left the property. Did let the owner of the property know that the wood walls built on the carport needs to be removed or permited as an enclose carport for storage or living area. The water needs to be turned back on and will check for the smoke detectors. Will check in 14 days. RV.
