01/28/2014 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved OWNER CONTACTED ADMINISTRATOR AND WANTS TO MOVE BACK INTO HIS UNIT. STATES PERMITS PULLED FOR PLUMBING AND ELECTRICAL HAVE BEEN FINALED. ADVISED TO GO OUT WITH IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR TO VIEW PROPERTY. CHECKED FOR EXTENSION CORDS ALL APPEAR TO HAVE BEEN REMOVED, SPLICES REMOVED OR DISCONNECTED FROM THE EXTERIOR AND INTERIOR, WIRE CONNECTIONS REMOVED FROM EXTERIOR, STILL A FEW TAPS BUT APPEAR TO HAVE BEEN DISCONNECTED, EXTERIOR EXTENSION CORDS DRAPED OVER FENCES AND VEHCILES MISC ITEMS ALL REMOVED. BATTERY SYSTEM HAS BEEN DISCONNECTED, OWNER HAS NO PLANS ON FILE TO ALLOW THE BATTERY SYSTEM AT THIS TIME, EXTERIOR LIGHTING FIXTURES DISCONNECTED, STUFF STILL STACKED UP AGAINST THE FENCE, EXCESSIVE STORAGE STILL LOCATED ON VACANT LOT. OWNER STATES IN 6 MONTHS HE WILL HAVE MOST OF THE STORAGE ON THE PROPERTY REMOVED OFF THE PROPERTY. WILL SCHEDULE A FOLLOW UP TIME. ALSO NEED TO SEND AN NOTICE OF VIOLATION FOR STORAGE PLACED ON THE VACANT LAND AREA TO THE NORTH, STORAGE SHEDS PLACED INTO PROPERTY SETBACKS.
01/23/2014 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved WENT TO 3250 N. LONGFELLOW W/INSP M.L. ASKED TO VIEW PROPERTY AS PART OF THE REQUIRED FOLLOWUP. FOUND PROPERTY STILL HAD A LOT OF VIOLATIONS ON SITE. STORAGE, ELECTRICAL, PLUS THE PERMITS HAVE NOT BEEN COMPLETELY FINALED BY THE BLDG DEPT. OWNER STATED HE WAS GETTING READY TO LEAVE AND NEEDED US TO HURRY UP SO HE COULD LEAVE. AT THIS TIME WE WERE UNABLE TO VIEW THE INTERIOR.

MR MANESS HAS REMOVED PROPANE TANKS, ALL ELECTRICAL EXTENSION CORDS AT THIS TIME. CLEARED AWAY ISLES, CLEANED AND REMOVED ITEMS, STACKED ITEMS. MR MANESS HAS MADE PROGRESS STILL LEAVING MORE TO DO. INSP. AND SUPERVISOR WENT OVER ALL ISSUES, WATER, ELECT., STORAGE MR MANESS STATES UNDERSTANDS STILL WHAT IS NEEDED FOR COMPLIANCE.
MR MANESS STATED HE CAN NOT RECIEVE P.D.S.D INSPECTIONS TO CONTINUE MOVING FORWARD ON WATER ISSUE.
TALKED WITH ADMIN., TRACY WENT OVER ISSUE OF PERMIT.

1)---FRONT: NORTH SIDE, TRAILER FLAT TIRES, J.M.V'S, TRASH/DEBRIS/REFUSE, UTILIZING (MANY) EXTENSION CORDS IN LIEU OF PERMANENT WIRING, 1 CORD PLUGS INTO 1 CONVENIENCE OUTLET SEVERAL TAPS FROM THIS 1 CORD TO SEVERAL DIFFERENT AREAS.
2)--- INTERIOR OF MOBILE HOME:
STORAGE ROOM (ENTRY) CLUTTERED IN NEED OF RE-ORGANIZATION, REMOVE FOAM FROM INTERIOR.
THE REST OF INTERIOR CLUTTERED, LIVABLE CONDITIONS, SOME CLEANING AND RE-ORGANIZATION.
AGAIN UTLIZING MANY EXTENSION CORDS THROUGH OUT INTERIOR. 4 PLUG GANG BOXES FULL, USE OF POWER STRIPS WITH SEVERAL PLUGS, 5,6,7 PLUGS ON 1 CONVENIENCE RECP. (15 AMP.)
STARTING REAR AND SIDE YARDS,
HOT WATER TANK NOT INSTALLED PROPERLY, NATURAL GAS HOT WATER TANK CONNECTED TO PROPANE TANKS, CAN SEE WHERE FIRE ROLLS OUT OF FRONT OF TANK (MANIFOLD). SEVERAL FIRE HAZARDS ALL AROUND TANK. APPROX 2 DOZEN PROPANE TANKS STACK AROUND AREA OF TANK, SCATTERED ALL AROUND ON GROUND (TOSSED) OTHER COMBUSTABLES MATERIALS IN AREA. HOT WATER TANK TURNED OFF @ THIS TIME.
TRYING TO MANEUVER THROUGH EAST GATE WHICH OPENS INTO REAR YARD GOING NORTH AND SOUTH HAS VERY SMALL PATHWAYS DUE TO TRASH/DEBRIS/REFUSE STACKED. MISC. ITEMS ALL SORTS, ALSO TIRES OPEN TO RAIN, HOLDING WATER, MOSQUITOS, FLIES HARBORING. COMBUSTABLES. 1 WAY IN 1 WAY OUT. HAZARD AREA, FOR IST RESPONDERS.
SOUTH: SAME WAY VERY NARROW PATH WAYS. HAZARDOUS, PROPANE TANKS, COMBUSTABLES.
ELECTRICAL SERVICE 50 AMP.:
T.E.P. LINES, DROP, WEATHER HEAD, LINES TO METER NO ISSUE. INSIDE BOX DOUBLE GROUNDING ON 1 LUG. NOT MUSH OF AN ISSUE UP TO METER.
EVERY THING FROM AND PAST METER IS HAZARDOUS ELECTRICAL.
UTLIZING EXTENSION CORDS IN LIEU OF PERMANENT WIRING. HAS SEVERAL DETERIORATED, CRACKS IN PROTECTIVE COVERING AND WIRING COATINGS, LAYING ON GROUND, PLACED ON POLES, DRAPED OVER FENCES AND TRASH/DEBRIS, CARS, NO SECUREMENT, OPEN END CONNECTIONS, HAZARDOUS SPLICING, ENERGIZED PLUG ENDS OPEN TO ELEMENTS, SHOCK HAZARDS OR WORSE. THIS IS NOT LOCATED IN A PARTICULAR AREA THIS IS COMPLETELY THROUGH OUT THE PROPERTY TO INCLUDE HANGING IN ALL PATHWAY AREAS. THE PROPERTY IS SET UP LIKE A MAZE, VERY DIFFICULT TO FIND YOUR WAY AROUND. 1ST RESPONDERS NO CHANCE.

APPROX. 30 OR MORE PROPANE TANKS SCATTERED THROUGHOUT PROPERTY. HEATED IN FIRE /EXPLOSION.
GASOLINE CONTAINERS SCATTERED THROUGHOUT.
PROPERTY ENDANGERS ALL NEIGHBORING PROPERTIES, TRASH/DEBRIS/REFUSE, COMBUSTABLES, EXTENSION CORDS GO DIRECTLY TO LOT LINES ON ALL 4 SIDES.
OTHER ISSUES:
WORK WITH OUT PERMITS, ADDITION ERECTED, MORE ELECTRICAL USEAGE FROM 50 AMP SERVICE.
UTLIZING SEPERATE WATER SUPPLY, WATER HOLDING TANKS RAN FROM PUMPS, AIR COMPRESSURE. NO PERMITS. (RESEARCH)
DUE TO ALL ELECTRICAL HAZARDS, ACCUMULATION OF ALL TYPES OF COMBUSTABLES.
CITY REQUESTED TO HAVE ELECTRICAL SERVICE DISCONNECTED AT POLE AND COMPLETED A CONDEMNATION UNTIL THESE HAZARDS HAVE BEEN REMOVED.
WHEN THESE ISSUES HAVE BEEN ADDRESSED OWNER MAY HAVE CONDEMNATION REMOVED AND WILL BE ABLE TO WORK ON CLEANING UP ALL OTHER ISSUES MOSTLY TRASH/DEBRIS/REFUSE FROM PROPERTY.
T.F.D. ALSO VISITED SITE: WALKED PROPERTY MAJOR CONCERNS ABOUT ELECTRICAL FIRE HAZARDS AND ACCUMULATION OF TRASH/DEBRIS/REFUSE, PROPERTY SET UP IN A MAZE CONDITION IN AND OUT PROPERTY AND 1ST RESPONDERS SAFETY. CONFIRMED CITY DECISION OF HAVING POWER REMOVED UNTIL RENDERED SAFE.
