09/12/2013 | INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT | Approved | VISITED SITE, MET WITH OWNER DAVID ANZALDUA WHO ALLOWED ENTRY INTO HIS REAR YARD. UPON ENTRY I WAS NOT ABLE TO TELL THAT A WALL WAS ADDED. THERE WAS NO PART OF THE WALL ABOVE 6 FT IN HEIGHT, AND THE WALL WAS CONSTRUCTED OF FENCE BLOCK WHICH DOES NOT REQUIRE REBAR (BECAUSE OF HTE NARROW CELLS) EXCEPT IN THE COLLUMS. WALL APPEARED TO BE CONSTRUCTED CORRECTLY AND PERMITS WOULD NOT BE REQUIRED. I LOOKED OVER THE REAR WALL INTO THE EASEMENT AND FOUND NOTHING THAT WOULD CREATE A PROBLEM. A 2 INCH SPACE BETWEEN WALLS IS NOT A CONCERN FOR FLOOD CONTROL AS WATER IS GOING TO DRAIN OUT, ABSORB INTO THE FENCE BLOCK OR INTO THE GROUND OR CONCRETE FOOTING. NO VIOLATION / CLOSE CASE. |
