Communication called that T.F.D. on site with a house fire. Arrived and the fire is in the attic of the living room area. Having trouble with putting the fire out due the insulation keeps smoking. The fire investigators are looking for the cause and appears to be the electrical wiring. Has differnent areas where the fire has started. The owner was on site. The electrical and the gas were removed at the meters due to the damage of the fire. The plaster ceilings were pulled down in the living room to remove the insulation from the attic where smoking occured. The owner was able to secure the sturcture. The owner was going to allow the tenant to remove the items out of the house. Did go over on re-entering the property and the owner has to be aware that someone on the property at all times. The rear room or porch has been added with out a permit and has cracked rafters and part of the attachedments have been broken at the fascia. The owner signed all the paper work. The owner was trying to call the insurance. Will check in 60 days. RV. |
