Received call from Karin that T.F.D. on site with a blown off roof. Arrived and the units have cleared and the owners were on site. The roof covering has been blown off and in the rear and front yard and in the neighbors yard. The son has bought plastic and will try and seal the roof temporary due to still raining. The owner has contacted the insurance and will come to the site tomorrow and seal the roof with a tarp. The living room and the hallway are dripping on the carpet. The power was turned off at the disconnect with a city lock due to the ceiling in the living room may fall. The disconnect has double lugging where an added panel has been added to the disconnect and no where to add the wiring. Advised the owners that when the contractor is on site for them to call and will make arrangements to turn the power back on once the roof has been temporarly sealed. Did a posting of "Do Not Enter" and the owner signed the paper work and left the property. They had a place to stay and will come back tomorrow to remove some items out of the house. |
