Communication called that T.F.D. on site with a building fire. Arrived the building was heavly smoked and were looking for what was burning. The front glass door was broken to gain entry into the building to start checking for fire. A machine for milling was found to have burned inside the metal case for the machine and was spilling oil on the ground. The oil was burning inside the metal case and causing smoke through out the building. There was no damage to the building. An overhead door was cut to gain entry into the warehouse portion of the building. A worker did show and he was going to have the property secured. He did sign the Indemnification form and stated that all the management were out of town for a conference. The worker had call Dalton to secure the overhead door. The front glass door had been secured and was only waiting for the overhead door to be secured. They did call for help to get the property cleaned up. The only damage from the fire was the machine and the power has been removed. The glass door is Tempered and will need to be ordered. Will check in 45 days. RV. |
