Was called by communication and was sent to the wrong address. Was given the right address and arrived and all the units had cleared. Did meet with the owner and they had a fire near the water heater. Southwest Gas was still on site checking for the line test and the survey which all passed. The water heater door was lacking the combustin relief vents on the door or inside the storage room for the water heater. Did find some grass in the room where some had burned. The door jamb had some burning where searching for air and went through a wall into the rear bathroom that has been added. The other gas appliance have been turned back and the water heater valve left off and tagged by Southwest Gas. Once the combustin relief vents installed the gas can be turned back on. Will check tomorrow when the owner calls that the vents have been installed. RV. |
