05/01/2013 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT Approved Received a call from communication that T.F.D. on site with a car hitting a porch at chipolte restaurant. Arrived and all the units have cleared and T.P.D. was on site. A truck hit a block column for the porch surrounding the building. Some of the rock veneer were broken and the masonry was OK. There was not damage to the porch and also checked the interior of the restaurant. The vehicle was cleared to be moved and was driven out by a family member who showed on the property to claim the vehicle. A sign was hit at the entrance to the parking lot from Wetmore Rd. The sign was damaged and the electrical was on a timer and not on at the time of the accident. The sign has a steel frame holding the sheet metal surrounding the base and the steel frame was bent with the sheet metal covering the base. The sign has been pushed from the ground supports and is loose. The electrical is OK and not able to find anyone who knows where the timer is located or who control the sign. Did get phone number to call of who owns the property and will call tomorrow or on Monday. The manager of the restaurant has tried to call the management and waiting for the call. The manager will let the owner know about the sign when she calls. The sign will be addressed once finding who has control of the sign. Will call on Friday of the phone number given of the owner of the building. RV.
