| 04/22/2013 | INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT | Approved | Communication called that T.P.D. on site with min. housing condition. Arrived and Pima Animal Control had 2-dogs removed from the house. The T.P.D. offices stated that the house is vacant and not able to have secured. The house was full of trash and debis through out the interior and the water heater was half full inside the room where the water heater was located. The stove had boxes and other trash and debris on top of the stove. The gas was still on and piolits were lit. Tried to call Southwest Gas and not able to have any one show to the property to remove gas and will have to wait until tomorrow. I tried to give the hazards of a fire and the person stated there was nothing he could do. I called T.E.P. and was told the same thing and will call tomorrow. I tried to go through communication and gave me numbers and was not able to have removed. While on site a process server showed on the property to serve the tenants an eviction notice to vacate the property. The paper work had the owner name and phone number and I called the owner. The owner was not aware of the property being vacant and let him know that T.P.D. on site and was ready to board up the property to have the property secured. The owner called his brother to go to the site to check what needed to be done. Once the owners brother arrived, he was shown what needed to be secured. Had called Bathcrest to the property and once talking to the brother and able to have secured, Bathcrest was told that they can leave the property. The brother signed the paperwork to have the property secured and will check tomorrow. RV. |
