Inspector Navarro asked that T.F.D. on site with a house fire to do the call. Arrived and the fire units had cleared and the fire investigators were on site looking for the cause. The owner had put a pan on the stove with grease and was doing something else. When she came back to the stove, the fire had started. The fire was contained to the kitchen area doing heavy smoke through out the house. The stove, the kitchen cabinets the drywall has fire damage in the kitchen. A vent hole was cut on the roof in the kitchen area. The gas and the electric has been removed at the meters. The property was able to have secured and the owner was able to lock all the openings. The Redcross was on site for the placement and the owner has called the insurance. The owner signed all the paperwork and was waiting for a ride. Had to leave the site due to another call. Will check in 30 days. RV. |
