02/26/2013 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT Approved VISITED SITE, SPOKE TO OCCUPANT TATIANA APONTE WHO MENTIONED SHE LIVES THERE WITH HER HUSBAND WHO IS MILITARY AND PRESENTLY IN AFGANISTAN. THE SILVER FORD MUSTANG IN QUESTION BEONGS TO THEIR FRIEND, ALSO MILITARY AND PRESENTLY IN KOREA. THE CAR DOES RUN BUT PRESENTLY HAS NO BATTERY. THE CAR IS IN THE DRIVEWAY BUT IS HANGING OVER THE INVISIBLE SIDE WALK LINE. THE POSITION OF THE CAR IN THE DRIVEWAY HOWEVER ALLOWS RUN FOR ANY PERSON TO WALK AROUND THE CAR, EASILY GET TO THE SIDEWALK WITHOUT LEAVING THE CONCRETE APRON OR SIDEWALK AND DOES NOT CAUSE A PERSON TO WALK INTO THE STREET. OCCPANT MENTIONED SHE WOULD TRY TO GET THE BATTERY IN THE CAR AND MOVED BACK.
** SPOKE WITH CARLOS PORTILLO WHO MENTIONED TECNICALLY IT COULD BE A VIOLATION BUT BECAUSE A PERSON COULD WALK AROUND THE CAR AND STAY ON THE DRIVEWAY APRON WE COULD LET THE VIOLATION GO ESPECIALLY BECAUSE OF HUSBAND AND FRIEND BEING OVERSEAS. NO VIOLATION AT THIS TIME / CLOSE CASE.
