02/20/2013 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved Went to the property to have the property secured. Arrived and T.P.D. were arriving due to calls have been called in that someone in the house or breaking in. I just arrived when the officers entered and I was getting the people to finish to have the house secured. 3-people were in the house and they were putting items out of the house on the front porch and the carport. The officers did talk to the people in the house to check on what they were doing in the house. They did check if the people broke into the house and the officers were advised that the house was opened when the inspectors arrived to meet with Tina to check on getting her items out. The screws had been removed from the front door and the front door was opened. The officers were advised that the house was going to be secured through out and we had just talk to the bank. While the officers were on site Bathcrest arrived to have the building secured. The rear shed had the door re-secured, the door to the storage room was secured due to the was broken into and the front door was secured due to the front door was broken into. Did tell the tenants or the people staying in the house that the bank will be posting the property and they have a realtor and they could check with him to get back into the house. Left the property once the property secured. The people were told that they could get the items that were left on the porch and the carport in the morning until daylight has gone or sunset. Posting were still up. RV.
02/20/2013 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved 02/20/13 - REC'D A CALL FROM ONE TENANT WANTING TO GET HER ITEMS OUT // MET WITH HER ON SITE TO FIND FRONT DOOR WAS OPEN ALONG WITH CARPORT STORAGE DOOR AND SHED IN REAR BOARDS WERE REMOVED // INSIDE LOOKED LIKE PEOPLE HAD BEEN INSIDE // TENANT STATED HER DOOR WAS KICKED IN AND RADIO TAKEN// DID SEE DAMAGE TO DOOR FRAME // WOULD ALLOW TENANT TO REMOVE THEIR ITEMS TODAY AND MOVE TO RESECURE THE PROPERTY // CALLED AND SPOKE TO SUPV SALDATE AND WAS OK'D FOR US TO RESECURE THE PROPERTY AT THE END OF THE DAY // CALLED AND SPOKE WITH LINDA FROM WARD 3 // BROUGHT HER UP DATE ON CASE // WILL CONTINUE TO FOLLOW CASE // AV
02/16/2013 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved Received permission to check the property at night per Rick Saldate a supervisor and Angel the inspector on the case. Went to the property and found lighting around the house and in the carport by someone smoking. Did call T.P.D. to the site to have the house checked for occupants. When T.P.D. arrived, showed the Notice to Vacate and went over that the N.O.V. was served about 11:00 AM and they were given until sun down to move items out of the house. Let the officers know that we had gone over how they could be on the property and was only during daylight hours. Went over wher I was able to see lighting in the front of the house and in the carport. Other officer showed and they went into the house. They found 7-people in the house and the rear shed on the rear of the property. Once the house was cleared the occupants were processed and taken by T.P.D. The officers gave us the clearance to go into the house and nothing had been done since the earlier inspection. Bathcrest was called to the property and all the openings were secured. While going into the house found where 3-dogs have been left in a bedroom. Did call animal control about picking up the dogs due to the house was going to be secured and not sure when the occupants were going to be getting out. Animal control did take the dogs and left paper work on the door to let the occupants know where the dogs have been taken. Gave the officer from Animal control all the case numbers from T.P.D. and our case number for records. Once the property was secured and took pictures and re-did posting of "Do Not Enter" left the property. Will get with the inspector to let know the results of the inspection. RV.
