Communication called and T.F.D. on site with a building fire. Arrived and the investigator were on site and checking for cause. The fire units have cleared the site. Unit # 223 was occupied and had a fire in the sleeping area. The fire burned the bed and damage to the drywall on the ceilings and walls to the sleeping area. The window was broken and the wall unit AC was pulled down and on the ground. The fire was cantained to the one unit but has some nails popped in unit #222 on the wall in the sleeping area and the ceiling in the sitting area. Did check the lower units and not damage from the water used to put the fire out. The electrical was off at the breakers in the unit with not damage to the panel. The unit has heavy smoke damage through out the unit. The occupant was placed in another unit. The manager signed the paper work and the maintenance cover the window opening and lock the door to the unit. Will check in 30 days. RV. |
