The owner has been told if the house is vacant and secured and keeps on showing progress on the repairs that the City of Tucson will keep on monitoring the property. The grandson has been working on the house and the owner not sure how far they have gotten. The grandson may be moving into the house due to he will be going to school in the area. 02/05/2013 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved Met with the owner and the tenant and did an inspection on the property. Found no heat to the house, no smoke detectors, windows are casement and some of the cranks are not working or the vent portion not able to open due to stuck, no water due to shut off by the owner, electrical outlets have open ground or reversed on the natural and hot, broken glass on the windows, has alum. sliders and the locking devices are not working, globes are lacking, water heater combustion relief vents are going into the hallway and not the exterior, roof leaking, gas being turned off due to water heater is the only appliance on gas and with no water not able to use the water heater, has a washer dryer that has been added to the carport area and has been enclosed to a storage room, and has other issues that will be check once the house has been vacated. The owner was given the notice to vacate due to lacking water, no heat and no gas. The property was posted with the "Do Not Enter" on the front door. Once the owner signed the paper work she left the property and the tenants were going to lock up the property. RV.
