01/20/2013 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT Approved Communication called that T.F.D. on site with a building fire. Arrived and the units were checking other units for smoke or damage from the fire. The investigators were looking for a cause and appears that a flash fire was in the area where seperating of the brass from ammo fired at the gun range next door. The brass was in plastic buckets and cleaned in the area but only separating was being done at the time of the fire. The fire did damage to the foil insulation on the rafters and the drywall for the fire stop at the end near a tilt panel. The fire was contained to the rear of the building near the over head door. There was some batt insulation behind the drywall that was pulled down or under the foil insulation in some areas. Had an injury to the person working in the rear where trying to move the bucket that had the fire. Once the other units were cleared of the smoke levels, the rooms were closed and locked up. The owner of the Marksman shooting range signed all the paper work and will address the issues of the repairs. Will check in 30 days. RV.
