Received call from the office that T.F.D. on site with a broken water line in the house. Arrived and the units have cleaned and the owner and the daughter were on site. The water line in the attic broke and knocked down the ceiling in the living room and flooded the flooring through out the house. The ceiling in the kitchen is wet but not falling at this time. The owner was told that more ceilings will fall as the water keeps dripping from the attic. Did knock some areas down to let the owner in to get items out of the house. She got the insurance papers and some clothing. Put a City lock on the disconnect on the exterior due to the water damage in the house until dried out. The owner signed all the paper work and will be staying with her daughter house. The owner secured the house. Advised the owner to let the insurance know that the house needs to be extracted and has a large amount of water in the interior of the house. Will check in 10 days. RV. |
