The door had been forced and the door jamb was damaged to the point it will no longer function as intended to prevent unauthorized entry. There was a lock box attached to the front door. There was a vehicle in the driveway. The vehicle did not posses a license plate but was not wrecked and did not have any flat tires or broken windows. I entered the residence to insure there were no occupants. There was a small amount of debris in the home however very little and it appeard to be items left behind by the most recent tenant. I insured there were not other openings breached and that all other windows and doors were locked. There was a phone contact number posted on the residence leading to BAC Field Services. I called that number and spoke to a person named Kevin. I explained the situation and he opened a work order as we spoke. He indicated that the problem would be addressed as soon as possible and gave a confirmation number of 12283790 as referrence to the case. I did mention the abandoned automobile and asked that it be addressed at the same time as the front door.
