CONTACTED SEAN KAIDER OF ACCLAIM LOSS CONSULTANTS WHO REPRESENT THE OWNERS, SEAN MENTIONED THEY WOULD CONTACT THE OWNERS AND GET BACK WITH ME WHEN THE OWNERS WERE AVAILABLE ALONG WITH THEIR INTERPRETER. STATED IT COULD BE THE FOLLOWING MONDAY OR TUES. I WAS CONTACTED BY SEAN ON THRUSDAY 1/24/13INFORMED THEY WERE SIGNING PAPERWORK WITH OWNERS AND COULD MEET AT NOON TO SIGN FOR THE NOV'S. MET WITH ALC REPS, SEAN AND DUSTIN, OWNERS AND OWNERS INTERPRETER. COMPLETELY WENT THRU ALL THREE NOV'S ANSWERED ALL QUESTIONS FROM EACH PARTY FOR ALL ISSUES. NOV'S WERE SIGNED FOR BY THE OWNER FOR EACH BUILDING SECTION. A 60 DAY FOLLOW UP INSPECTION WILL BE CONDUCTED. |

01/02/2013 | INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE | Approved | MET WITH RICHARD VIDAL , TFD, TPD, CITY DEMO, AND LATER JIM GARRISON FROM PINA COUNTY/ PARKING OPERATION DUE TO THE STAGING AREA BEING SET UP ON PIMA COUNTY PARKING LOT. HCD INSPECTORS WERE ASKED TO DETERMINE WHAT POWER LINES/CONDUIT, WATER AND GAS LINES NEEDED TO BE CUT, WHERE THE EXTERIOR SOUTH WALL NEEDED TO BE CUT SO THAT EAST AND WEST PARAPHET WALL WOULD NOT BE DAMAGED, AND WHERE AND HOW TO PROCEDE WITH DEMOLITION AND TO STOP DEMOLITION IF THE PROCESS MIGHT CAUSE ANY UNNEACESSARY DESTRUCTION TO ADJOINING BUILDINGS. SOMETIME CLOSER TO NOON HCD INSPECTORS WERE NOTIFIED BY PIMA COUNTY ENVIRONMENTAL ANALYST JENNIFER LYNCH THE PROJECT NEEDED TO BE INSPECTED FOR POSSIBLE ASBESTOS IN THE MATERIALS AND MENTIONED THAT SAMPLES WOULD BE TAKEN AND SENT TO A LAB TO DETERMINE OF ASBESTOS WAS ACTIVE IN THE MATERIALS, AND RESULTS WOULD BE SENT BACK QUICKLY, CITY DEMO DUPLICATED THE MATERIALS FOR THEIR OWN TESTS TO BE CONDUCTED. JENNIFER GAVE THE OK FOR WORK TO MOVE FORWARD. CITY DEMO DID NOT COMPLETE THE DEMO CLEAN UP THAT DAY. BATHCREST WAS CALLED TO SECURE ADDTIONAL OPENINGS NOW EXPOSED, BIFF BAKER WAS CONTACTED TO SECURE THE NEW OPENING CUT INTO THE STRUCTURE AND TO FENCE THE LOT/ STAGING AREA. JIM GARRISON WAS CONTACTED CONCERNING THE USE OF THE LOT. |
