Per TFD and TUSD personnel, a small transformer in the building housing the gym malfunctioned, causing the gym to fill with smoke. TUSD Building engineer cut power via panel and confirmed by TEP. No fire or smoke damage. The malfunction either caused electricity to go off in area, or whatever caused area outage also caused transformer to malfunction - undetermined. Engineer: Peter Morales 461-3657. Repair technicians were already called and on their way. No further action required. Permit review under State jurisdiction. Photo in Sire. |
