01/04/2013 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT Approved Site inspection; met contractors on site in progress of work. "Existing" structure at SE corner of parcel is being renovated with new stucco, roof, lighting fixtures, and added electrical without permits (panel, outlets). Old wood frame windows appear to have been reinstalled and/or added. This structure appears to be attached to exisiting building at the north end of the abutting parcel, which is owned by same person. A suspended wood frame canopy has been built and attached to the south and east sides of the main structure and portions of SE structure without permits. Suspension is via metal rods from canopy to brick wall above. A small workshop shade structure was built atop the existing block wall at the NE corner. Electrical circuits and light fixtures added to canopy underneath without permit. Block wall, approx. 5', added behind exiting metal/block fence east of driveway; appears to extend over property line to south. An approx. 4" waste pipe was been installed 1' off ground along the exterior north block wall, appearing to emanate from the rear porch to the front right-of-waste (graywater?). Items that require HPZ review: rehabilitation elements of NE structure, (including to-be-added roof), awing, block wall, and possibly the waste pipe if it is determined to be not operationally necessary. Items that require permit: Awning (attached), and all added electrical including panel, circuits, lighting fixtures, and outlets. Photos in Sire.
