Unit 1 power turned off. Fire in backroom and a total loss. Heavy smoke damage through out. Has a vent hole in the roof near kitchen and bedroom. Plaster in ceiling and walls pulled down to check for fire. Windows and doors burned in back secion of house. Has a room added to the front porch that needs to be checked for permits. Electrical meter pulled due to damage. Gas meter pinned due to damamge. Met son of the owner and he signed all the paperwork and went over the damage. He has another unit at another location for tenants to stay at. Did posting to not enter and take photos. Son called insurance and was going to secure the property. Follow-up in 30 days. |
