I did received verbal answers on why I have not received a sprinkler inspection report or a 5 year report, according to the sprinkler company they were told by the cooperation not to give the fire department the report they had question about there findings. I did ask what they found: 1. Bottom half of riser leaking need to replaces pipe. 2. Sprinkler coverage in warehouse needs corrections heads spaced at 150 sq not 130 sq. 3. When the 2" drain for the flow test was done they noticed mud coming out of the drain - will need to replace supply line to sprinkler system. According to the manager she stated that the city water department will be coming out to replace the piping. Note: Will need the fire inspector on site when underground line is replaced and flushing is done. Will need a permit and approved plan before any sprinkler work is done. A hand written field notice was given requiring all repairs to be done. Still need annual sprinkler and 5 year check valve reports. |
