Therefore reduce space of service area in relation to retail area to meet requirements for c-2 retail/service zoning/occupancy M. Then this door will be signed "blocked Exit" on exterior of building space.

STATE SPECIFICALLY WHAT IS PROPOSED INLIEU OF LITERAL COMPLIANCE: Tenant instructed to do the following for compliance: Recuding service service area to within 10% of total tenancy for purpose alignment with code of M occupancy. 2 other doors exit and and " is clearly marked Exit Back doors in question are always and only open during business hours. "Blocked Exit" signage is being mfr'd.

**-Rear door on south side must read on the exterior "this door blocked" per 2006 IFC 504.2. On the interior of this door it must be clearly signed as "not an exit". In addition, accessory use area must be kept to 10% or less of the total sq ft of the whole occupancy per 2006 IBC 508.3.1.
