Required systems shall be extended, altered, or augmented as necessary to maintain and continue protection whenever the building is altered, remodeled or added to. Alterations to fire protection systems shall be done in accordance with applicable standards. _____ Your current cooking equipment is too large for your current hood system. Either stop use of your giddle portion of the cooking device or upgrade your hood system to meet code standards with proper coverage. *** Occupants have agreed to stop use of their cooking equipment as they will be replacing their current stove top with a smaller unit. *** 901.6 Inspection, testing and maintenance.
