| 01/26/2011 | VIOL - FIRE PROTECTION SYSTEMS | Correction Required | Received a report from Kazal Fire protection dated 09/02/2010 showing deficiencies sent out letters and received a call from a Mr. Al Roth (Director) stating he will be the contact person for repairs. The following repairs are needed: 1.) South Office Area - There are (4) sprinkler heads that are 7'-11" from one wall and (1) sprinkler by Ed's Office that is 10' from the wall. This area is over 800 square feet and does not qualify for light hazard "small room rule". The Fire Marshall report (06/25/08) does not address this among the repairs required. 2.) Small Building in the Warehouse - Lacks sprinkler coverage. (Bldg. to be removed) 3.) In Clean Room #234 - there is a sprinkler that is over 8'-0" from the SE wall. ordinary hazard occupancy. 4.) Training Room #216 is missing one chrome recess escutcheon. 5.) Large Room at Corridor #236 (across from door 135B) there is one Gem chrome escutcheon missing (this sprinkler needs to be lowered for escutcheon to fit) 6.) Clean Room #234 is missing seven chrome 401 escutcheons. (Two sprinklers will require adjustment for escutcheon to fit) 7.) Fiber Assembly Room #237 is missing one chrome 401 escutcheon. 8.) Burn-in Fab #203 is missing a chrome 401 escutcheon. 9.) Chemical Storage Building at Rear of Facility - There are two standard spray pendent heads installed in a standard upright head position. 10.) There is a ceiling tile missing @ Burn-in Room #203. |
