Extension cords and flexible cords shall not be affixed to structures, extended through walls, ceilings or floors, or under doors or floor coverings, nor shall such cords be subject to environmental damage or physical impact. Extension cords shall be used only with portable appliances. - SECURITY ROOM - 2 EACH IN UPSTAIRS OFFICE -SERVICE DESK #1 2. _____ 605.6 Unapproved conditions. Open junction boxes and open-wiring splices shall be prohibited. Approved covers shall be provided for all switch and electrical outlet boxes. - REPLACE MISSING ELECTRICAL COVERPLATES NI THE SERVICE BAY (3 EACH). 3. _____ 901.4 Installation. Fire protection systems shall be maintained in accordance with the original installation standards for that system. Systems shall be extended, altered, or augmented as necessary to maintain and continue protection whenever the building is altered, remodeled or added to. Alterations to fire protection systems shall be done in accordance with applicable standards. - CURRENTLY THERE IS A DISPLAY THAT IS HAMERNIG THE SPRINKLER COVERAGE (ABOVE THE RADIO DISLAY). EITHER REMOVE DISPLAY, EXTEND PIPING HEADS BELOW OR HAVE SPRINKLER COMPANY GIVE ME A REOPRT STATING THE DISPLY DOES NOT HAMER COVERAGE. 4. _____ 906.7 Hangers and brackets. Hand-held portable fire extinguishers, not housed in cabinets, shall be installed on the hangers or brackets supplied - SERVICE BAY #9 5. 2210.5.3 Rubbish containers. Metal containers with tight-fitting or self-closing metal lids shall be provided for the temporary storage of combustible trash, rags or rubbish. - NW CORNER OF SERVICE AREA 6. _____ 901.6 Inspection, testing and maintenance. Fire detection, alarm and extinguishing systems shall be maintained in an operative condition at all times, and shall be replaced or repaired where defective. Nonrequired fire protection systems and equipment shall be inspected, tested and maintained or removed. - REPLACE MISSING "CAPS" ON THE SPRINKELR CONNECTIONS - SPRINKLER CONNECTIONS REQUIRE MAINTENANCE SO THAT THE CONNECTIONS ARE FREE SPINNING. 7. _____ 1027.3 Exit sign illumination. Exit signs shall be internally or externally illuminated. The face of an exit sign illuminated from an external source, shall have an intensity of not less than foot-candles (54 lux). The fire code official is authorized to order the posting of "No Smoking" signs in a conspicuous location in each structure or location in which smoking is prohibited.
