09/19/2012 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved At site, spoke to manager, Helene. Said that the owner was in an auto accident. He also purchased another home and is fixing it to rent out. $75 re-inspection fee applies. No abatement done at property and no abatement according to Permit Plus on getting permits for the additions or C of O. Sending citation.
07/03/2012 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved 07/02/12: Rick S., conducted inspection due to prevous Inspector dept transfer. Owner has abated violation associated with storage, remaining violations are associated with or due to heavy modification from prevous duplex to single family house. Owner has opened fire wall between units to allow access, added a 5th bathroom, converted areas in house into additonal rooms along with associated electrical, structural, plumbing and mechanical. New issue discovered has to do with the unit being used as a Group Home. Owner has approx between 19 to 23 people, 11-bedrooms and 5-bathrooms.

Owner stated he has plans drawn, offerred to show but was instructed to contact his Architect asap, sumbit to DSD and complete process. Owner agreed to have done early next week (wed), then he and I will meet to assess his next step. My concern is that owner may not understand dollar amount and additonal work necessary to convert house legally, once he communicates with DSD he may choose a different method to conduct his business or close. ACTION; will re-assess Thursday or Friday, contact owner for next step.
07/03/2012 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved At site with Rick S. No abatement has been made on the property. Found that dwelling is being used as a group home without a C.of O. There is a travel trailer on the Northside of property being used as a dwelling unit. Trailer is connected to the sewer system. Spoke to Rick about adding these new to item to the list and send out another NOV before citation. F/U 30 days.

Out door storage along north side fencing removed, phone contact made earlier in the wk w/owner stated drawing done, hasn't had time to drop them off to DSD plan ck. Informed him time running out, inspector to move to citation if plans are not submitted and in applied status w/in the next couple of weeks.
03/15/2012 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved No progress made on outdoor storage. Mattresses from the roof removed. Previous phone conversation with owner stated he is working with archtect. Inspector checked data base for status of permit. Apply 1st reinspection fee.
