Property has just enough overgrown, dried vegetation exceeding 6" in height scattered through out property needing to be addressed. Vehicle being stored as per code requirements, but car cover in a deteriorated state. Items stored in carport do not qualify as excessive out side storage. Contact made w/neighbor, stated elderly lady & daughter live a residence. Attempted contact, no answer at door, however insp. heard voices from inside. Violations present. Protective treatment for structure & wood fascia are in a deteriorated state, several areas of block are blistered, flaking and peeling off, wood fascia has large areas of exposed wood surfaces. Roof shingles also in a deteriorated condition, large areas of granules are gone exposing roofing material, several areas have been patched. Storage room doors veneer detached from door & deteriorated into a dilapidated state. Possible old chicken coops in back yard have been allowed to deteriorated and are in a state of collapse, but do not pose a safety hazard to occupants. Owner arrived on site while inspector at site. Reviewed issues, stated she was on a fixed income, not sure if she could handle repairs to structure. Insp. to review case w/supervision. |
