The water heater, AC package unit on the roof, all the correction have been made on the plumbing and gas lines. The smoke detectors have been installed on the bedrooms and the hallway. Will meet the owner after the inspection has been completed due to has holes still in the drywall and not allowed to cover until the electrical has been transferred to the new main disconnect on the exterior. Next inspection due 8-31-12 or will call next week when all the repairs completed. RV. | |
| 07/16/2012 | INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE | Approved | Met with the new owner who just received control of the property and went over what needs to be done to abate the issues. The porch in the rear has been removed. Masonry columns are still in place. They have a plumber coming to run a camera down the drain to check if it's plugged. They have a P.V.C. line in the rear of the house on the exterior that will be dug out and capped at the main sewer line. They will be checking the water lines on making changes. Has an area for the washer machine and need to make correction to have for a perminate use. Checked the gas lines and went over what needed to be done and they will be replacing some of the lines. Checked the water heater and they will be installing a new one and will be getting the permit and moved it to the exterior. They will be installing a new AC on the roof and recommended that the get the permit with the water heater. Did look at the electrical system and will need to be replaced. Has a fuse box in the kitchen area with a juction box and went over on moving the fuse box to the exterior and on breakers. Will have a juction box when it's moved. Looked at the work with out permits and has it on the rear of the house attached, enclosed carport that was started and not completed. Went over on the changes of the footings being required if not installed on the exterior walls. They stated that all the electrical that was not safe or not installed correctly has been removed. Went over the porches that will be built in the rear of the house in two different areas. One porch will need to be moved due to was building it on the patio masonry wall and had no approvals. The owner will remove the columns that were built on the top of the masonry wall and leave it at a wall only. They will get the drawings done and submit for approval once they look at the items that need to be addressed on the plans. Gave cards to the owner and the worker and let them know that they can call at any time. Will check in 45 days. RV. | |
