Permit was issued to comply with this code enforcement case. Primary hazards were identified in lighted ballards constructed approx. 5 years ago, which contain unprotected splices (lacking box). Other issues were romex used for exterior lighting on two buildings (not rated for use if lacking conduit). See additional reference notes.
03/31/2011 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved Met Brian (facilities manager) at location to point out violations: they will be allowed to remove one added light and to replace the fixture on the other with a compliant fixture of the same lumens under permit. The remaining lights will be grandfathered. Any further changes and additions will be required to be done under permit.
