L. Pumphrey and C. Portillo met General Mgr, Rick Hollander (PDSD), electrical contractor on site to review additional electrical hazards Mr. Hollander has identified on the permit T11EL01001 inspection conducted 4/18/11, which was denied. Permit was issued to comply with this code enforcement case. Primary hazards were identified in lighted ballards constructed approx. 5 years ago, which contain unprotected splices (lacking box). Other issues were romex used for exterior lighting on two buildings (not rated for use if lacking conduit). See additional reference notes. |

Met Brian (facilities manager) at location to point out violations: they will be allowed to remove one added light and to replace the fixture on the other with a compliant fixture of the same lumens under permit. The remaining lights will be grandfathered. Any further changes and additions will be required to be done under permit. |
