07/07/2011 ENGINEERING - FINAL Partial Approval ACCESS RAMP AND SIDEWALK HAS NOT BEEN CONSTRUCTED TO MEET CURRENT ADA SPECIFICATIONS AND MUST BE CHANGED. THIS INSPECTION WILL REMAIN AS A PARTIAL TILL ALL ADA ISSUES HAVE BEEN RESOLVED.
06/22/2011 ENGINEERING - FINAL Partial Approval TALKED TO STEVE SHIELDS ABOUT THE PROBLEMS WITH THE SITE AND ADVISED HIM THAT I HAVE ASKED THE ENGINEER OF RECORD TO COME DOWNTOWN AND RESOLVE THE PROBLEM. A PARTIAL C OF O WILL REMAIN IN PLACE UNTIL THE CORRECTIONS HAVE BEEN APPROVED AND COMPLETED IN THE FIELD.
06/20/2011 ENGINEERING - FINAL Partial Approval WENT TO THE SITE TO TAKE SOME PHOTO'S OF THE CURRENT CONDITIONS, AND TO DISCUSS WITH THE ENGINEER OF RECORD A POSSIBLE SOLUTION FOR THE PROBLEMATIC AREAS. IT APPEARS THAT THE HANDICAP ACCESS PARKING SPOTS COULD BE RELOCATED TO AN AREA EITHER NORTH OR EAST OF THE CURRENT LOCATIONS. I WILL TAKE THE PHOTO'S AND DISCUSS WITH ZONING THE POSSIBILITY OF MAKING CHANGES TO HELP BRING THE SITE INTO COMPLIANCE.
06/15/2011 ENGINEERING - FINAL Partial Approval PARTIAL FOR STOCKING PURPOSES ONLY, THE FOLLOWING ITEM NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED PRIOR TO CALLING IN FOR A FINAL INSPECTION OF THE SITE: THE ADA WHEELCHAIR ACCESS RAMPS HAS BEEN CONSTRUCTED IN A MANNER THAT IS NOT ACCEPTABLE PER THE CURRENT CODES. THIS NEEDS TO BE REMOVED AND CONSTRUCTED IN A DIFFERENT MANNER AS DETERMINED BY THE ENGINEER OF RECORD FOR THIS SITE. THESE MODIFICATIONS NEEDS TO BE RESUBMITTED TO THE ZONING AND ENGINEERING SECTIONS AT 201 NORTH STONE FOR APPROVAL PRIOR TO CONSTRUCTION. ONCE AL THE WORK HAS BEEN COMPLETED IT NEEDS TO BE REINSPECTED BY THE ENGINEERING SECTION FOR THE FINAL CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY.
