10/15/2012 FIRE - FINAL Denied 1.) Per IFC 1008 & 1008.1.9 Need to install panic hardware on both double doors accessing out into the new patio. During the time of this inspection I found the double doors lock, a sign was posted on doors stating "THIS DOOR TO REMIAN UNLOCKED WHILE BUILDING IS OCCUPIED". According to IFC 1008.1.8.3 this sign is to used ONLY on the main entrance doors.
2.) Per IFC 1008.1.8.4 bolt locks are not allowed shall remove from main entrance doors and use approved locking device.
3.) Per IFC 1008.1.8.3 need to remove padlocking hasp from inside mounted on front doors not allowed this is not an approved locking device.
4.) According to the contractor patio will not have gates installed right now Per IFC 1008.2 gates installed will need panic hardware.
