Received complaint from E6A, regarding a fuel spill at the Shell station. I responded on 01SEP and the employee on duty stated that a nozzle at dispenser #8 had not shut off during use. The nozzle was left unattended by the customer, who inserted the nozzle upside down, resulting in the spillage. Testing of the nozzle proved nothing wrong. Shell had the nozzle replaced anyway, and was in service as of 1510 hrs. the same day. |
