The power supply for means of egress illumination shall normally be provided by the premises' electrical supply. In the event of power supply failure, illumination shall be automatically provided from an emergency system for the following occupancies where such occupancies require two or more means of egress: all Emergency lighting shall be functional and properly maintained in conjunction with IFC section 1027.

1008.1.8.4 Bolt locks.
Manually operated flush bolts or surface bolts are not permitted.

_____ Remove the slide bolt from the dish room egress door, as bolt lock of any kind are not permitted

1008.1.9 Panic and fire exit hardware.
Where panic and fire exit hardware is installed, it shall comply with the following:
1. The actuating portion of the releasing device shall extend at least one-half of door leaf width.
2. The maximum unlatching force shall not exceed 15 pounds (67 N).
3. No additional locks or latches shall be added

1027.3 Exit sign illumination.
Exit signs shall be internally or externally illuminated. The face of an exit sign illuminated from an external source shall have an intensity of not less than 5 foot-candles (54 lux). Internally illuminated signs shall provide equivalent luminance and be listed for the purpose.
