The following Tucson Fire Code Violation(s) was noted: 1).Currently there is standpipe piping posted with out of service sign. Piping shall be confirmed out of service, and inlets to this stanpipe on Congress shall be conformed active to piping or out of service also. Written confirmation shall be required. Is this system and inlets are confirmed out of service; this system shall be removed by licensed contractor. This is violation of the following Tucson fire code section; 901.6 Inspection, testing and maintenance. Fire detection, alarm and extinguishing systems shall be maintained in an operative condition at all times, and shall be replaced or repaired where defective. Nonrequired fire protection systems and equipment shall be inspected, tested and maintained or removed. 2). Fire drill shall be required. Date shall be determined by 2-2-10. IFC 401. 3). Fire sprinkler system shall be tested and inspected and required report submitted to TFD. IFC 901.6 4). Fire alarm system shall be tested and report submitted. IFC 901.6 5). Fire pump shall be tested and report submitted to TFD IFC 901.6 6). Label all sprinkler shut off valves. |
