Found a vacant and neglected property with a SFR and an accessory structure in the rear perimeter yard that has been destroyed by fire. Speaking with a neighbor I discovered the house has been unoccupied for at least 5 years. The fire occured in November 2010. Attempts to contact the owner by the district Inspector have failed. The case was referred to VANS and I will pursue service of a VANS NOV and subsequent citation if necessary.
