10/15/2010 | INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT | Approved | RECEIVED A CALL FROM INSPECTOR ERNIE STEVEN THE T.F.D. ON SITE WITH APARTMENT FIRE. ARRIVED AND UNIT HAS A KITCHEN FIRE BY THE REFRIGERATOR. MET WITH MANAGEMENT AND LOOKED AT THE ELECTRICAL IF POWER WAS RESTORED TO UNITS NOT INVOLVED IN THE FIRE. POWER HAS BEEN RESTORED TO ALL UNITS EXCEPT FOR 905 AND 901. 905 HAD THE FIRE DAMAGE AND 901 HAD WATER DAMAGE FROM THE WATER SEEPING THROUGH THE WOODEN FLOORS. THE GAS HAD BEEN TURNED OFF AT MAIN BUT SOUTHWEST GAS WAS COMING BACK TO SITE ONCE IT WAS DETERMINED WHICH UNITS WERE GOING TO VACATED FROM THE DAMAGE. MET WITH THE TENANT AND SHE GATHERED HER ITEMS NEEDED TO GO TO ANOTHER PLACE TO STAY. SHE WAS ADVISED THAT IN ORDER TO GAIN ENTRY TO THE UNIT THAT SHE NEEDS TO MAKE CONTACT WITH THE MANAGEMENT TO ENTER THE UNIT. THE MANAGEMENT WILL SECURE THE UNIT ONCE THE TENANT HAS REMOVED ITEMS OUT OF THE UNIT AND THE MANAGEMENT HAS GOT THE PICTURES. DEBRA SIGNED ALL PAPERWORK. WILL CHECK 30 DAYS. RV. |
