10/06/2010 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved Met property owner at site, who allowed access to his property. Further inspection of the main electrical panel required an immediate shut down of active electrical service due to hazardous conditions. TEP was contacted, concurred on the hazardous condition, and cut the power off at the pole. Reconnection of electrical will require an approved permit. Notice to Vacate was posted due to lack of electrical service and unpermitted construction that has not been approved; some may not be built to code. A stop work order was also posted. Owner will be issued a Notice requiring an approved permit that encompasses all the illegal work; anything that does not meet code will need to be removed. Electrical service must be repaired by a licensed contractor under permit. Owner will be allowed to reoccupy the premisis one these items are addressed. Please refer to NOV and photos.
10/05/2010 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved Observed main electrical panel in a hazardous condition, located on west side of building off the original structure. Breakers may be double lugged, appears to be ungrounded, several added wires/circuits coming out of panel in a haphazard manner not in conduit or in anyway according to accepted electrical code. Permit T05 for east and north side additions has expired without any inspections. Owner is now constructing a second story addition on top of these unapproved additions with no permit. No plans on file for the second story additions; will require a resubmittal and review. An attached ramada (actually 2 or 3 connected) to the rear property has also been built since the original plans were approved on
T05 and lack permits. Rear yard has a large amount of storage and refuse and exceeds 25% of lot, including several JMVs. Rear shed appears to have attached electrical.
