Inspector visited site, fire had occurred in the main office next to the lobby, in front of the structure. Front office was gutted by fire, rear office had parial drywall ceiling removed and heavy smoke damage, outlets melted in the north wall. S/W Gas turned off the gas to the structure, TFD turned all power off. Electrical System is a 3Phase system TEP mentioned that becase nothing was marked at the Main Switch Board Panel, they would not get involved. Owner contacted Mehl Electrical who shut everything off, worked backwards to identify bad circuits, eventually turning power back on isolating all firedamaged circuits. Hotel had only 18 occupied units, many occupants were put up in motel next door (Frontier Motel). Owner contacted Insurance Company who hired Pinnacle Restoration to complete the board up of the structure, I went over with Don Chavez our requirements for the boarding. NOV was issued. *See additional notes in sire. |
