Structure is unable to be occupied in its current condition and presents an attractive nuisance to area community. Code violations associated with these structures include, but are not limited to, the following: Structure has severe dilapidation and damage present on interior and exterior components including electrical system, wood features, walls, windows, and roof assembly, with possible compromise of structural integrity on portions of the building. Dilapidation due to roof damage, missing door and windows are allowing moisture and pests to penetrate structure and cause further damage. Graffiti is present on the interior and exterior of building. Structure has been boarded well in excess of the allowable 180 days; repair or demo is required. Property has been boarded in the past, but boards are frequently removed due to trespassing and is a public nuisance. Accumulation of vegetation on property and abutting areas is present. The neighboring parcel to the east is also being addressed under VANS for the same owner under T10DV05829. Owner failed to respond to boarding request under T10DV02934, so City will scheduling boarding of the structure. |
