| 06/07/2010 | INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT | Approved | Visited site, met with TFD Carl Schultz who explained a sprinkler head discharged on the 3rd floor in the exersize room and affecting the surounding units and units on the 1st and 2nd floor. met with Qality Restoration, allowed them to test drywall in halls and units for water absorbtion, it was later determined that no drywall would be removed, instead rubber base board to be removed, holes drilled at the base of the wall and water extracted or allowed to dry. Checked the electrical system with maintanence in rooms and hallways, checked outlets switches and j boxes to determine how much water may have gotten into the conduit and electrical system. did shut off power to storage unit and isolated power in unit 107 and 207, will be allowed to dry and then turned bac on in 24-48 hrs. Central Alarm was called back to the scene to replace a faulty sensor to the alrm system on the 3rd floor. Checked with Carl Shultz and Rick Saldate before exiting the building. No NOV issued due to violations being abated. Close Case |
