THE 6 CAR CARPORT, WHICH IS UNDER UNIT 206 HAS DAMAGE TO THE CEILINGS TYPE X DRYWALL THE AREA IS OF DAMAGE IS ESTIMATED AT 200 SQUARE FEET, PLUMBING COMPANY ON SITE AND MAINTENANCE PERSON STATED THAT THE CARPORT CEILING IS A SOFFIT FOR PLUMBING PIPES AND HAS NO ELECTRICAL CONDUCTORS, THERE ARE EXTERIOR LIGHTS UNDER THE CEILING AREA. TFD DID TURN POWER OFF AT THE SUB PANEL. I TURNED OFF POWER TO THE UNIT FROM THE MAIN DISCONNECT, MAINTENANCE TURNED POWER OFF TO THE EXTERIOR LIGHTS. NO TENANT WAS PRESENT. ORDER TO VACATE AND A NOTICE OF VIOLATION WAS ISSUED TO MANAGER KURT MINNO 520 237-0917. SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS ON THE NOTICE OF VIOLATION WERE TO EVACUATE ALL WATER FROM THE INTERIOR OF THE UNIT WITHIN 10 DAYS. A ELECTRICIAN INSPECT AND SHALL PROVIDE A REPORT WHICH WILL STATES THE UNIT ELECTRICAL DEVICES ARE SAFE TO ENERGIZES, PRIOR TO ANYONE TURNING POWER BACK ON. THE NOTICE OF VIOLATION STATES THAT A PERMIT IS REQUIRED TO REPLACE THE TYPE X DRYWALL WITHIN 30 DAYS TO COMPLY, I ASKED THE MANAGER TO EXPOSED THE DAMAGE AREA AND CALL ME TO EVALUATE HOW MUCH DAMAGE WAS DONE AND TO AIR OUT THE WOOD MEMBERS. SCHEDULED FOLLOW UP INSPECTION 30 DAYS. |
