The homeowner was sweating some copper fittings in his bathroom and accidentally started a fire in the wall. Fire extended into the area above the ceiling and burnt some wiring. TFD opened the roof and a small area in an exterior wall checking for fire extension, of which was minimal. Electric and gas utilities were turned off and the homeowner was instructed to hire an licensed electrician to perform repairs which must be done under permit. Follow up 30 days. |
