THE FOLLOWING EQUIPEMENT MAY BE RE-USED AS NOTED 1) ELECTRIC TILT-SKILLET OF UNKNOWN ORIGIN. 40A CIRCUITS WITH 3 HEATING COILS--OK TO REUSE WHEN FLEX CONNECTOR REPAIRED AT UNIT. MUST MAINTAIN EQUIPMENT GROUND. 2) COMBI-THERM BY ALTO SHAAM IS OK (LISTED COMPANY) 3) FRANKLIN CONVECTION OVEN IS A GE PRODUCT MADE UNDER THE FRANKLINCHEF BRAND. BONDING IS SOUND, SAFETY CUT-OFFS WORK (DOOR INTERLOCKS ACCEPTABLE); BTU INPUT LABEL IS MISSING, SO SUPPLY WILL HAVE TO BE CALCULATED USING LARGEST INPUT RATING FOR # OF BURNERS. 4) THE GRILLS/STOVES BY WOLF, FRY-A-LAYTOR, AMERICAN RANGE, & CHAMPION ARE ALL ACCEPTABLE EQUIPMENT FROM WELL KNOWN COMPANIES. BTU INPUT DESIGN MAY BE DONE FROM MANUALS FOR SAME SIZE EQUIPMENT. 5) THE SALAMANDER APPEARS TO BE AN AMERICAN OR CHAMPION BRAND. BTU INPUT LABEL IS INTACT. 6) TRUE COUNTER HEIGHT REACH-INS AND CHEF LINE COOLERS ARE ACCEPTABLE (LISTED COMPANY) 7) THE UPRIGHT TRAULSEN REACH-IN STILL BEARS ACCEPTABLE LISTING MARKS 8) THE OZ WINEBAR / WINE DISPENSOR IS OF AUSTRAILIAN MANUFACTURE. COMPRESSOR MOUNTING & ELECTRICAL BONDING OK. 9) TURBO-AIR DROP IN COOLERS ARE FROM WELL KNOW LISTED COMPANY. |

| 03/16/2010 | BUILDING - PROGRESS | Not ready for Inspection | This inspection has been done to verify whether some existing equipment from this address is suitable for re-use at the future "Feast" restaurant: 1) Hood is ok to reuse. Listing cannot be identified so exhaust requirements will need to be calculated prescriptively from the IMC. The exhaust duct and blowers were not evaluated as they are not being considered for removal / replacement. 2) The gas cooking equipment may be reused if the gas piping for the future restaurant assumes the maximum BTU usage for equipment of equal size. a) Imperial fryer-- the model may be looked up for BTU info. b) Champion grill-- look up model and provide BTU info. c) The stove, combo grill, and salamander may be assumed to be Wolf or Viking products. Owner may match # of burners to equivalent equipment for BTU information. 3) The following equipment is manufactured by UL companies and will be accepted as meeting listing requirements: a) Bev-Air cold box b) McCall over/under 6 bay freezer c) Bev-Air upright fridge d) Perlick 3 compartment bottle cooler e) Manitowac ice machine (air gap for backflow will need to be verified at time of installation. 4) The following equipment shall be accepted if proper electrical bonding of motors, switches and cabinets can be shown at time of installation: a) TRU cooler unit (need to check motor & cabinet bonding) b) Perlick cold bar (verify bonding at main outlet) c) Prep table (electrical outlets need to be welded to table) |
