The Tucson Fire Department has conducted a fire safety inspection at the above stated business on November 2, 2009. Below is a list of violations that shall be corrected to provide compliance with the applicable codes, regulations and ordinances. Compliance is required by the 2006 International Fire Code (with modifications). A Re-inspection will be performed on or about
November 16, 2009

Notice of Violations:
1._____ 906.7 Hangers and brackets. Hand-held portable fire extinguishers, not housed in cabinets, shall be installed on the hangers or brackets supplied

- Required Correction: Fire extinguisher on the table shall be properly mounted.

2._____ 605.6 Unapproved conditions. Open junction boxes and open-wiring splices shall be prohibited. Approved covers shall be provided for all switch and electrical outlet boxes.

- Required Action: Replace broken/ missing electrical coverplates on the Northwest wall of the rear shop area.

3. ______1008.1.8 Door operations. Except as specifically permitted by this section egress doors shall be readily openable from the egress side without the use of a key or special knowledge or effort.

- Require Action: Remove locking device on rear doors and provide for unhindered egress

4._____ 605.5 Extension Cords. Extension cords and flexible cords shall not be a substitute for permanent wiring. Extension cords and flexible cords shall not be affixed to structures, extended through walls, ceilings or floors, or under doors or floor coverings, nor shall such cords be subject to environmental damage or physical impact. Extension cords shall be used only with portable appliances:

i. Remove extension cord near the battery charging area

5._____ 605.4 Multiplug adapters. Multiplug adaptors, such as cube adaptors, unfused plug strips or any other device not complying with the ICC Electrical Code shall be prohibited.

- Required Action: Remove the multiplug adapter near the battery charging area
