We feel that the 6/5/2009 request from the city fire Marshall is not reasonable for an existing structure and hereby reqeust a waiver of this requirement.

DECISION OF THE FIRE CODE OFFICIAL= Appeal is denied- per Chief Dan Uthe Fire Marshal.

Based on the review of the code requirements, the appeal is denied. The Tucsn Fire Code is very specific in the requirements for fire hydrant placement. These requirements are strictly enforced to ensure that during an emergency a water supply will be available. A fire hydrant shall be installed within 300 feet of all structures. The hydrant placement must be shown on the site plan.
