St. Tucson, AZ. 85730 Mrs. Lori Hansen, The Tucson Fire Department has conducted a fire safety inspection at the above stated business on October 5, 2009. Below is a list of violations that shall be corrected to provide compliance with the applicable codes, regulations and ordinances. Compliance is required by the 2006 International Fire Code (with modifications). A Re-inspection will be performed on or about October 19, 2009 Notice of Violations: 703.1 Maintenance. The required fire-resistance rating of fire-resistance-rated construction (including walls, fire stops, shaft enclosures, partitions and floors) shall be maintained. Such elements shall be properly repaired, restored or replaced when damaged, altered, breached or penetrated. " Ceiling tiles are a part of the fire resistive construction which prevents heat and smoke from transferring to other areas of the building. They also ensure that the heat remains in the fire area so that sprinkler heads will activate. Currently the ceiling tile is missing in the exit corridor. Ceiling tile shall be replaced to maintain coverage. |
